Local groups

Open Rights Group (ORG) has welcoming local groups in towns and cities across the UK that meet regularly to campaign on the digital rights issues affecting their communities.

From tech workshops and expert panels to documentary screenings and pub socials, our volunteers host events and meet to exchange news, share expertise and take action to protect privacy and free expression online.

The lead organisers of our local groups make up ORG’s Supporter Council which meets every month to learn about ORG’s national campaigns.

ORG local groups offer an exciting opportunity for you to connect with people in your area who care about protecting online liberties. With multiple locations between Edinburgh and Brighton, there’s a good chance we have one near you.

To join an existing group or start your own, send an email to supporters@openrightsgroup.org or explore the groups listed here.
