Join us for the second in our weekly online discussion series examining the digital privacy & data protection consequences of the Government's Covid-19 response (if you missed last week's session you can view it here).
This week we'll be joined by Privacy International Advocacy Director Edin Omanovic to hear about privacy concerns over the global response to the crisis, including the involvement of CIA-funded data-mining company Palantir and its emerging involvement with the NHS.
We'll also hear from Paul-Olivier Dehaye, Founder of PersonalData.IO, a Swiss non-profit dedicated to helping people control their personal data. Paul-Olivier will discuss the role of responsible tech in the age of Covid-19.

Open Rights Group is aware of the emerging privacy issues with Zoom. During this unprecedented time, it is essential that barriers to participation are low so as many people can be informed as possible. Zoom’s reliable and easy to use interface meets this need but we are exploring open source & privacy conscious alternatives.
If you want to help ORG explore alternatives, please join us on Riot / Matrix at https://riot.im/app/#/room/#openrightsgroup:openrights.modular.im
