Recruiting a campaigner

The Open Rights Group is looking for a full time campaigner to lead our copyright work for one year, with a possibility of extension.

ORG is the leading group campaigning for digital rights in the UK, defending our civil liberties and ‘consumer’ rights online. We have successfully mobilized support against plans to disconnect internet users for file sharing without full legal process, delayed copyright term extension, and helped defeat plans for evoting and intrusive behavioural advertising technologies.

We want a talented and creative campaigner, with good lobbying, research and communication skills, to take our copyright campaigning onto the next level. We want someone who is passionate about online and offline mobilization and with a strong interest in digital rights. We will help you gain the policy depth: you will bring your proven campaigning ability to the job.

Apply by sending us a CV plus 1-2 page statement explaining how you fit the job’s selection criteria to michael@openrightsgroup.org
