Making IP laws fit for the internet age means more user rights

The Government have today announced a review of Intellectual Property and copyright laws.

That’s good news. If the Government is committed to make IP laws “fit for the internet age” then User Rights are the direction of travel.

The Digital Economy Act left a massive hole of missing rights such as personal copying and parody.

ORG welcomes this great opportunity to make the case for modern copyright that works for citizens, artists and innovation.
