Make a difference! An invitation to join the Open Rights Group Advisory Council

Do you have deep knowledge of the digital rights space?

Do you have insights into the communities with which we work, especially the migrants’ rights sector?

Do you have expertise in AI, Data Protection or Content moderation?

Can you help us build new collaborations, in the UK and EU?

Are you as passionate about our mission as we are?

Can you ask the tough questions that will help us grow?

Would you like to use your skills to be a part of the fight to stop digital injustice?

If this might be you, apply to join our Advisory Council! We’re currently looking for 10 new members.

Our Advisory Council is an important part of the ORG ecosystem. It’s made up of volunteers who give advice and support, to help us further our areas of strategic focus.

Unlike our Board of Directors, Advisory Board members do not have voting power, nor do they have fiduciary responsibility.

Advisory Council members need to commit to three meetings a year, as well as make themselves available for occasional, ad hoc queries from ORG staff in a more informal manner.

Please send applications to recruitment@openrightsgroup.org by the end of the day on Monday 11 July 2022. We’ll hold interviews in July.

We hope to hear from you! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Also – if you know someone who would be a great fit for the role – please either share this with them, or email us their details and we will get in touch with them directly.
