Advisory Council Nominees needed

Open Rights Group is looking for around 10 new members of our Advisory Council in 2024, to help advise us on policy at a time of major change.

In particular, we are looking for people with expertise in the harms caused by surveillance, censorship, digitalised immigration systems and pre-crime technologies. We particularly want to hear from those that have lived experience of the issues we address in our work and who bring an understanding of the impacts on over-policed, racialised and minoritised communities.

We particularly want AC members to support our Migrant Digital Rights and Pre-Crime programmes.

We are also interested in diversifying our panel of experts across all of our work, so if you have particular connection to LGBT rights, racialised or minoritised communities, disability rights, children and young peoples’ rights, and their experience of surveillance and censorship, then we would be very interested in an application.

In addition, if you have expertise on communications, campaigning, law or policy in these areas, then we would especially love to hear from you.

If you wish to be considered, please send your CV to recruitment@openrightsgroup.org by 31 March 2024. We will consider applications as they arrive.
