This week, Europe’s highest Human Rights Court ruled that the UK Government’s mass surveillance programme violated our fundamental rights.

Then on Wednesday, after a 3 year legal battle against the Home Office, the court of Appeal has found the UK immigration exemption (which removes key data protection rights from all UK residents, including British citizens) to be unlawful, excessive, and wrong.
