Open Rights Group is currently recruiting a:

Scotland Officer (part-time)

  • £25,000 pa pro rata
  • Two days a week (with the possibility of expansion to full time as funds allow)
  • Permanent
  • Working from home initially, with support from our office in central London, but must be willing to work in central Edinburgh or Glasgow when we establish an office there, and travel to frequent meetings in Edinburgh and Holyrood
  • Closing date: 12:00  Monday 2 March 2015
  • Interviews are expected to be held in Edinburgh on 23 and 24 March

This new role offers an opportunity to shape the future of ORG's work in Scotland by leading a new area of campaigning. The successful candidate will work as political organiser and campaigner to advance digital rights in Scotland, providing ORG with political context and contacts on the ground and supporting ORG's local groups and fundraising initiatives in Scotland. To do that, you must have of proven campaigning skills and experience in a public affairs, government, or policy role.
