A Malmo Unconference!

As flagged here there’s an EU e-Government summit coming up in November in Malmo, Sweden. We expect a sensible, feet-on-the-ground kind of event.

Open Rights Group is not itself yet invited, but we're wondering whether other NGOs that reflect various aspects of the many aspirations 300m-odd Europeans have for e-government in Europe would like to get together to help stage an Alternative e-gov Unconference. We'd like it to be calm, constructive and beautifully designed, to build a bridge with the official event.

We could set out what we think Europeans really want drawn from a crowd-sourced process (including the one already underway on the excellent Debategraph site). We could use exemplary social networking and new media to show how well these things work i a constructive cause.

To do this we'd need:

Anything else? Who else is up for it?
