Curriculum

From CreativeBusiness

In order to cater to a variety of audiences, the course will be constructed in a modular way. This will allow tutors to select which modules are relevant to their timeframe and audience. Note: When any topic is jurisdiction-specific, such as copyright and public domain, we will be focusing solely on the UK. We will be refining this as we go along, and welcome suggestions of how best to break it down into smaller, more manageable topics. The course will cover:

Contents

Creative digital business

Intellectual Property

Digital platforms

  • Digital Distribution Methods
  • APIs ("An application programming interface (API) is a source code interface that an operating system or library provides to support requests for services to be made of it by computer programs." Wikipedia) (Don't think we're going to get to cover this in detail)

Social media and communities

Practical next steps

  • Practical next steps Aim here is to keep delegates engaged beyond their attendance at the class i.e. give them a structure to work to or with beyond the 6 or 2 hours of attending our class. Might include simple things like a mailing list, or perhaps regular meet-ups in future, or even further studies. Pls suggest ideas below.
