Board of Directors: job description (May 2007)

About the Open Rights Group

Politicians and the media often don’t understand new technologies, but comment and legislate anyway. The result can be ill-informed writing and dangerous policy. The Open Rights Group helps technology experts enter the public debate, clarify problems and steer decisions in the right direction.

Founded in 2005, the Open Rights Group is a community of enthusiastic volunteers and renowned technology and policy experts, supported by a small team of core staff.

ORG is a UK-based non-profit organisation, publishing expert commentary and putting media and politicians in touch with experts able to explain ideas clearly. (To find out more about the Open Rights Group, please download our prospectus)
