Ask your MP to protect your rights today

Michael Holloway, 23 October 2009

This week, the Guardian published the results of an ORG / YouGov poll showing 70% public support for the right to a fair trial.

This happened because people like you helped ORG pay for the poll: now we need your help again. The government has no stomach for a fight. So with a push, we can win. But there's not much time.

We need you to ask your MP now to show their opposition to Mandelson's extreme internet laws

Only a public show of opposition now will make MPs reject Mandelson's plans

1 Ask them to support the right for fair punishments, fair trials, and freedom of expression

2 Ask them to sign Tom Watson's EDM 1997 on illicit file sharing

3 Ask them to meet you as a concerned constituent. They are obliged to see you.

Click here now to tell your MP what you think of Mandelson's plans

Lord Mandelson's pandering to misguided big business interests over basic human rights could see whole households deprived of the right to information and communication.

Please support the right for fair punishments, fair trials, and freedom of expression and sign Tom Watson's EDM 1997 on illicit file sharing.
