New ORG Theme

As you can see, we now have a new ORG theme. We hope you like it.

Thanks to Matt Oakes for the theme design, Denise Wilton, Chris Morrison, et al for the new ORG logo. The WordPress theme was built by me, Mike Little, any errors or mistakes are therefore mine. Let me know if you spot any problems: o r g at zed1 dot com.

Very nice, indeed! Professional and eye-catching, and the red fits in well with the logo. The EFF also has a reddish theme, so you're obvously in good company!

The slogan in the top right, however - might that not look better as white? Maybe bolded? The bright red and thin black font don't seem to go together... Or is that just me?

Hi James,
I did try it as white and bold at one point, I think Suw wanted as it is now. Although black on red is not normally good contrast, I think the larger font size compensates here. I did try bold too, but I don't think it improved things.

A minor glitch (I think). The url behind the RSS link is "feed:http://www.openrightsgroup.org/feed/".

I'm no expert on what lies to the left of the "://", but I suspect
that's wrong.

Thanks for that. I've corrected it now. The <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feed:_URI_scheme" rel="nofollow">feed: URI scheme</a> is a still-in-draft standard.
